FRC- Flowood Remote Control Indoor Park -
this is an Off Road Indoor dirt racetrack.  The facility is able to have races with 300 participants on the pro-level off road track.  In addition, an oval track for kids birthday parties and special events where we provide the R/C vehicles is available, and is open to the public.

Ross Barnett Reservoir
Provides recreational opportunities that include managing 48 parks and recreational facilities for an estimated 2.5 million annual visitors. These facilities increase each year, boosting the local economies. Visitors can relax at five campgrounds, 16 parks, 22 boat launches, three handicapped-accessible trails, two multi-purpose trails and a mountain bike trail. Each campground has a live-in, on-site Reservoir Patrol manager. In conjunction with private and public sectors, the District has also developed five marinas, four baseball/soccer complexes and two golf courses.

 

Mississippi Museum of Natural Science
Right on the edge of Flowood, The Museum's 73,000-square foot building features vast expanses of glass overlooking a 300-acre natural landscape containing 2.5 miles of nature trails and an open-air amphitheater. The building's design and layout encourages visitors to share their time between the indoor exhibits and the outdoor environment, moving between informative indoor models and their reality in a natural Mississippi setting.

Trustmark Park - Home of the Mississippi Braves
Trustmark Park is the spectacular home of the Mississippi Braves. Trustmark Park is one of the finest facilities in Minor League Baseball. With a capacity of 7,319, is "Not Your Typical Ballpark." A variety of accommodations are offered to make your experience an enjoyable one. The Mississippi Braves take pride in serving our guests and hope the Trustmark Park experience will bring you back many times in the future.

Outside full-court basketball area, a 1600 square foot open-air Pavilion with picnic tables, state-of-the-art playground area, 300 foot baseball/softball field, concession stand with bathroom amenities

Crystal Lake -
Ttwo main picnic areas complete with tables and trash receptacles, restroom facility, two handicap fishing piers, newly renovated boat launch

Flowood Liberty Park -
40-acre facility with four-plex lighted baseball complex and four-plex lighted softball complex, both with state of the art concessions area, restrooms, and press box; four Olympic sized soccer fields which can be broken down to different size age groups

Flowood Underwood Auditorium -
5000 square foot rustic/modern building with full kitchen, bathroom facilities, and an open area designed for weddings, receptions, meetings. etc.

G Chastaine Flynt Memorial Library (Flowood Library) -
25,000 square foot modern, state-of-the-art building with meeting rooms and private and public use

Currently being remodeled, will reopen Fall 2011
